is it possible to make a screencast?

tried to attach a zipped short movie. but forum no joy.

I have double images now. one is correct, other is another jpg.

What did you mean it's a bug? Is this a bug in the new version of xnview? Should I download an older version? Older version did not have this bug.

You should be receiving the movie in a few minutes. Seems very slow importing in Wetransfer.

Thanks i have it, so the problem comes only when you have 2 same thumbnails, could you send me the 2 files, please?

I will send you the two files, but note that there are false doubles in the entire folder, one thumbnail is correct, the other is false. Its not just these two, there are false doubles throughout the xnview display. THERE ARE NO DOUBLES IN THE FOLDER ONLY IN XNVIEW BROWSER.

Ok, thanks, it's to check the embedded thumbnail. all is good.
Could you use 'Thumbnails + filename' mode, and show preview? When you click on the 2 files, do you have good preview?

sorry but by preview, i means the preview in browser mode not view mode

Pierre, I am sorry to be slow-headed. I don't know the difference between browser mode and view mode.

But, anyways, I saw the option under VIEW/Rebuild Thumbnails. That solved my double thumbnail issues. I watched as all the doubles were changed to original image thumbnails. Now the XnView Library shows all individual thumbnails as before the last version of XnView. Turns out to be just a bit of cleaning up the thumbnails w "Rebuild Thumbnails". I have no issues any longer. XnViewMP works beautifully as always.
