The latest BETA works great! It resizes all images in a folder the exact same way Classic does!

Is this finally in XnviewMP now? "XnView MP Option - Fit image to desktop, large only" ?
think my earliest request for it goes back a number of years aswel... it is the one of a few things that keeps me still using xnview classic (think xnview classic loads up faster aswel)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.7.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I just installed the latest version and now it no longer resizes the windows to the image. It adds thick bars on either side of the image. I also tested the BETA version and it too is now not working properly as it did before.
I wonder if a Windows update broke something? My laptop was just updated this morning.
I can provide screen shots if needed, comparing both MP and Classic opening the same image.

Strange, is it 'Fit image to window' or 'Fit image to desktop'? Both options do the same thing. The only image type that either option seems to work with is a GIF. Regular images add thick bars on either side of the image to take up space instead of scaling the window down.
I also noticed when I opened the test image of a wolf that it opens almost full screen and starts jittering the entire window. I took a video of it and can PM it to you.
