i have the same behavor in 1.01 and 1.02.
windows 10 64bit.
xnviewmp is crashing for some video files in browserview.
it was working in 1.00.
an downgrade to 1.00 will not solve it (it still crashes). is it maybe because of an combination with an actual windows patch?

le moment où il bloque c'est lorsque vous changez de fichier video ou simplement cliquez sur le m4v?

yes the same problem in 1.02.
yes it seems the crash is for thumbnailing the folder thats contains the videofile.
there was no problem for the same folder in 1.00 but downgrading back to 1.00 will not fix it (thats really strange

)
i hope you can reproduce and fix this bug

It looks like I have a similar error, in versions 1.01 and 1.02 the program freezes when you click on any video. Version 1.0 doesn't have this problem. Checked on clean versions without settings. (win10 x64 / XnViewMp x64)

1.01 use new version of old QtAV version (not more maintained)

To be honest, I didn't understand the answer at all. What is QtAV, which version to use. Just fix something that worked fine in all previous versions before 1.01. I just click on any VIDEO in the xnviewmp browser and everything except the main menu of the program stops working.

QtAV was the video engine library used, in 1.01 i have updated to new video engine library. Your bug is
this one, with developer we search for a fix...

OK. Now I understand. Hope you fix it. Tired that an accidental click on the video breaks the program.
