This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.7.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

it looks like Zoom-in/out:None (in Settings) still affects zoomed-in/out image with enabled 'High zoom quality' at certain conditions,
eg multiple tabs opened or multiple instances are opened
