Tried to reproduce it in VirtualBox. There xnview crashes all the time in the same scenario. Dump was sent.

It crashes in video engine, you use the mp4 attached before?

I made a directory with a picture and the video that I posted here. The picture is not important. It works with any.

In VirtualBox, you can always reproduce with clean .ini + selectOnEnterFolder=true ?

No, it is more than that. For example, no information may be displayed in full screen mode. So you need my configuration file.
I will try to make it more reproducible this weekend. For this I want to experiment again with a reinstall in virtualbox.
