Sorry for the late replay. Archive with xnview.ini attached. Cleared up recent files and history.xnview wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 9:42 amPlease send your xnview.ini, and the way to reproduce?rotanov wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 5:25 pm Also having the same issue. Can't reproduce it with Bilinear set on zoom out.
But with Lanczos 4 repro rate is about 9/10. Sometimes 5/10, don't know what it depends on.
Note: It only happens when picture fits the screen, i.e. no zoom out is applied. Sometimes pixel grain varies.
Repro: open any image from windows explorer, the image size must be less than display resolution, so it's not getting minified upon opening to fit the screen. Also I use 100% display scaling in windows setting (i.e. not using it at all), just in case. Repro rate about 7/10, though it varies. When pixelation visual artifact is present, pixel size varies. May be smaller, may be larger. Zooming in and back out to 100% removes pixelation. Going from fullscreen to windowed mode by pressing <Enter> removes pixelation. Opening images from xn view browser doesn't produce pixelation.
