1.8.1 – grey nav arrows after save as

If you have 1.jpg & 2.jpg, and open 1.jpg, you save as 3.jpg, so now the file list is [1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg] and the current is 3.jpg so no next file
If you to stay on 1.jpg, use 'save a copy'

In my case, when I set order files by Date Descending, the start order may be: 3.jpg, 5.jpg, 4.jpg, 2.jpg & 1.jpg. And now when I use Save As it make 6.jpg which landing as first file: 6.jpg, 3.jpg, 5.jpg... I repeat, Keyboard arrows work well.
Now I see, that [New files are added at the end of the list] has no effect here.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.6. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I'm so sorry, but it is still not fixed.
But such a curiosity I have now noticed. When I click on another tab and return to that picture, the arrows are ok and clicking on them works properly.
Maybe there is a mistake related to refreshing the interface on my machine (Windows 11 24H2)? It would also explain why you don't see a mistake in another issue I reported (viewtopic.php?f=62&t=48551).

Ok, i can reproduce with your .ini, toolbar is not updated when 'new files are added...' is on
