1) making a 'Copy special' icon -to go alongside 'copy path' - would this be fine?
2) your opinion on the current 'add watermark' on demopage - keep it or a newer one?
3) your final decision on the 'add text' icon on the demopage?

I like the icon on the demopage...

So the 'copy special' with the gears should be just fine then.

View this screenshot - so icons would also be needed for:
'style'
'stop'
'rebuild thumbnails'

...Also in the File and Edit menu's of MP, icons could be considered for:
'Quit' (should be easy, could use a 'power button' metaphor)
'Recent files'
'Invert selection'

These recently thought of above, are just menu items for consideration that MIGHT be feasible enough for there own icon, as I am just thinking of other users at this point. All of my main requests on this topic, so far, have been granted already except only the awaiting 'copy special' icon.

These is not typical.
I don't think that every function in UI should have icon.

yes true - not every menu function needs an icon, hence why I stated "could be considered". Although an icon for 'style' may be nice.. Not a request, just a thought.

So all my requests have been wonderfully fulfilled for now.

Why you need it?
I'm used color that used for basic symbols in XnView icons. You can see in in zoom, panels, crop...
