Yes, i means that you are for the option...
Just to be sure - "Can paste on subfolder item" is to paste into the subfolder, right? I think the default behavior should be the same as in explorer and other programs - always paste to the current folder, not to the selected subfolder.
But troken will have always the same problem. He can't paste on current folder.

But he said:
Im not totally clear about the options anymore, but after Dreamers conclusion, I vote for "Select previous folder item", it has more "+" than "-". If that is standard for other managers, then it should be used I guess.
So he is for "Select previous folder item" too.

If he needs the other option, then you'd have to add two options (to disable the first and enable the other) - but it's not the standard, so perhaps ini options would be enough...

Anyway, default behavior should be as in previous versions, not as in the current version IMO ("Can paste on subfolder item" should be disabled by default).

Hello, have been gone a few days, its always hard to understand this thread after a break. Could we try to summarize the suggestion "Select previous folder item"? Im confused. :)

[ ] "Select previous folder item"
= No subfolder is selected in current folder?

[X] "Select previous folder item"
= One item (subfolder or file) is always selected in current folder. If you i.e. use back-arrow, it remembers the subfolder and selects it?

Is this correct?

Weeell... that is the reason for this whole thread. :)

Anyway, if I uncheck "Select previous folder item", I guess that it can help if nothing at all is selected. I'm not certain about the feature, but I'll gladly test it.

Pierre - "Can paste on subfolder item" will be disabled by default, right?

Troken - "Select previous folder item" option is NOT planned (AFAIK).

I think the ini options would be enough, first disabled and second enabled by default - this is important, it's a standard Windows behavior.

I'll add "Can paste on subfolder item" as option and "Select previous folder item" as ini option

Problem solved for me, I'll remove the post in ""Must fixes" for next release" topic.

I think also this topic can be closed now, do you agree?

I have not tested it because I can not locate the option.
