1. Reassign the current icon for cmd_OpenProperties to cmd_ShowInfo
2. Create a new icon for cmd_OpenProperties that's closer to the standard “Property Sheet” symbol

automatic levels
automatic contrast

old photo

Do you have an idea for the metaphor?

And which others icons are needed?

We definitely need:

• change color depth
  automatic levels
  automatic contrast

I'll try to work up ideas for these three today.

OTOH, I'm not so sure about the need for these icons:

• negative
  sepia
  old photo

Negative and sepia are easy, but old photo? Very difficult in an icon.

UPD: alternative is letter "A" instead of arrows.

You are really good. I like them both. Some thoughts:

Automatic Levels

For the Auto levels icon, perhaps reversing the direction of the two little arrows would be better. My reason for this is that I think the automatic levels action typically results in an apparent widening of the histogram.

Automatic Contrast

I really like the appearance of this icon, but it suggests "Adjust contrast" to me (instead of "Auto contrast") since the arrows suggest a variable control, which "Auto" is not;

The problem is how to represent the "Auto" meme component.

Perhaps the "Auto" could be better represented by a little robot head or something that implies robotic action.

That's because I suggest "A" letter. Robot head is too complex fot recognition in small size. I have seen "A" in photo camera UI.
