Proportional text size based on the image dimension. This prevents long text (in case of for example Folder name) from going outside the image.

If percentage is meant to be proportional to the image size then it didn't work.

It worked. My mistake was using whole numbers. But when I used 1.5% it worked.
Thanks for the follow-up. Should I delete my original post?

As nearly as I can tell "unit %" scales the text based on the image's height. Is this correct?
And if so, is there any way to scale text based on the image's width?

Please add a way for xnconvert to minimize to the task tray and start up silently with windows. XNconvert hanging out in my taskbar forever is very unwanted when I just want it to do automated tasks.

Currently having to use https://sourceforge.net/projects/processpriority/ to do this.

Thank you!

Add Resize canvas by longest side REQUEST
viewtopic.php?f=79&t=40591

Useful for non-squared product catalogues (e.g. a wine bottle on a white background) that you want to batch convert to squared pic by longest side to not truncate it (using a white canvas background as it was in the original image background color).

Are XnView MP 0.97.1's new conversion options like Canvas resize: Square - Longest side still missing from current XnConvert and Nconvert CMD line?

I think you will get more answers when you create an extra thread, naming the problem in the title of the posting.
