I confirm! XnViewMP 0.99 is starting much faster. (starting from SSD: first start takes 1 to 2 seconds maximum / restart XnViewMP 0.99 is nearly instantly)

just out of curiosity, was the issue in the Qt self and the update to the latest 5.15.6 fixed the problem?
If yes, what was the QTBUG number?

It was a problem with font enumeration, the problem was fixed between 5.16.2 & 5.16.6
