Double checked with 1.6.4, problem persists under Wayland

Same problem with QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION=xcb_egl

BTW: I get no preview thumbnails for video files, just white placeholders, maybe that is relevant?

Yes, no thumbnail previews and when I click on any video, it crashes.

I have the same issue on wayland, except that the video thumbnails are working.
The Program crashes when a video file is selected in the browser or when you switch to a video file in view mode.

Image and audio files are working fine. Thumbnails are being generated and displayed, even for video files.

Version:

• xnviewmp 1.6.4

• Linux 6.7.0 x86_64

• plasma (KDE) 5.27.10

• wayland 1.22.0

• ffmpeg 2:6.1.1

Logs:

• xnview debug 2

• gdb

• vainfo

Yes, I added it to xnview.sh, but that did not help.

Yes, same crash. I see no difference in the logs.

Updated Logs:

• xnview debug 2 (bundled libs)
• xnview debug 2 egl (bundled libs)
• xnview debug 2 (system libs)

• gdb
• gdb egl

• vainfo

Packages tested:

• bundled libs
• system libs

The crash while selecting a video in the browser tab only occurred because of the preview window.
When configuring xnview to skip the internal video playback it doesn't crash:

• File list > Custom filter > Video > Associated program
• View > Filter > Video > unchecked
• no preview panel

The info panel shows the video file details, thumbnails are working fine and the files open in mpv.

I closed the preview pane, before clicking on a video file, but still got the crash.

Checked with 1.6.5, problem still persists, QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION=xcb_egl is set.

Just installed KDE 6 with the Tumbleweed Update, where Wayland is the default. Unfortunately, the problem still exists

Just tried it, but sorry, still the same problem. Works perfect under X11, crashing on first click on a video file under Wayland.
I'll send you the logs.
