It should be named as '

Ok this would be better; '
Date Modified' - if you could fit that then this would be better

neutral != grey

A neutral background color (for viewing a photo) would not be grey however light or dark but the average color (and brightness) of that photo itself. Yes, picture-specific.
That's not taste but fact.

So that it clearly better indicates what toolbar is for what. Just a suggestion

+1. Makes much more sense, especially for newbies.

hi again,
These are two request in one that would normally go in a separate topic however they are closely related in the new enhancements I was trying to convey.
1. Opening multiple files from Explorer
I have already requested support for opening multiple files from the XnMP Browser;
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=19703 . Now in XnView win, sure I can do open multiple files highlighted in Windows Explorer but I notice that the viewer tab 'flickers' when I have enabled the 'open only one view for multiple files'.
a. So for XnMP I suggest that there should be no flickering of the program or tabs in that when 'open only one view for multiple files' feature returns that it just adds all files to a background process playlist.
b. Second of all, in this below attached picture I created a second Info display to XnView MP that would show on such events as opening multiple files. In the picture after this the setting to this, I have named as 'Alert information'
2. In the 'Options' window, under View>Info
I have changed some things a little to make it better and accommodate what I said at the above 1b. Please look at the picture:
Ok so when a user clicks on that single 'Configure' button a small window could open to configure that display with a live preview. The live preview would be the most important aspect, I created this:
