This issue is still not fixed.

XnView MP v0.79 32-bit (default config) @ XP SP3 (no codec packs installed)
XnView MP v0.81 64-bit (default config) @ 7 SP1 (no codec packs installed)

I used WMV (C:\WINDOWS\Help\Tours\WindowsMediaPlayer\Video\*.wmv) and AVI (C:\WINDOWS\clock.avi) clips for my tests.
