This idea is useful for someone not using preview and at the same time using XnView with animation/video/music files.
To add on-thumbnail control for play/stop playing file. The video file is played in-thumbnail. The music file is simply played.
Animation of sound icon when playing would be nice, but an extra.

Very good ideas, but -> postponed (Would probably require quite some technical changes).

Meanwhile, the UI design/buttons/options should probably be discussed further. Feel free to add posts, even in 'Postponed' group.
