doesn't recognize 16bit images

It seems that xnview doesn't recognize 16-bit images. Sorry it does recognize them, I can open and view such image, but in properties page the "bits per pixel" says that there're 32 bits when there are 16*4=64 bits. This is not a big problem since I can do with this image anything I want, but it seems like something unfinished, you know...
And 1.9 alpha 3 behaves alike.

I can send you example files.
