B2: The "-slide" problem has changed.

v.1.82.4 "-slide" in registry can cause xnview.exe to appear in task manager and not open image. Especially if you use Open With from MS explorer's context menu. Registry info is in another topic linked below for those wanting to experiment.
v.1.9 b2 *Now MS Explorer's 'Open With' on JPG will start program on first file in directory instead of file selected.
Follow steps listed in

to recreate problem. Basically, you associate only Slide files- then check by using MS Explorer's 'open with' on JPG.

I think the real problem behind this is that XnView does not recognize its own slideshow format unless you associate .sld files with XnView.

New v.1.9 users won't have this problem. Fixed.
