Click in an empty icon preview area –> Crash

:) Hello !
  1. Open the ß-2 from an icon on the Desktop or so (no file) in default View
  2. Options >> Interface >> Tool-bar
  3. Open the View icons preview from its tab (same if you open the Browser icons preview)
  4. Scroll the icons up to see an empty area at the right side
  5. Left-click on that area  Crash, with an appetizing Bill's error message…
• Let notice that you can click on the empty area of the default View bar, nothing happens. But there is no scroll-bar here.

• Can be reproduced n… times at will.
- I can't see in 1.90 A3, because there is not any empty space @ right, even when I remove several icons…

Confirmed, only when in View mode and only on the Browser icon preview pane (the others have no problem for me)

You have to keep trying, I could only reproduce it 50% of the time.

Yes.

My Steps:

- Open XnView in Browser mode
- Close Browser mode
- Choose Options from toolbar
- Choose Interface -> Toolbar -> Browse button
- Click just below and center of the two "t's" in "Default Toolbar"

Crash!

This way too---

:) Hello !

• Right, one can get the bug such as too.

- It seems that the corresponding view mode must be opened before, like you point out.
- Here, the error address is :
AppName: xnview.exe AppVer: 1.90.0.0 ModName: xnview.exe
ModVer: 1.90.0.0 Offset: 001032d6

• Did you test under XP ? Here, XP-Pro SP1

- I can reproduce it at will, either according to my steps, or the ckit's ones as well…
