B6: Files in subfolders: Thumbnails not cached

<Moderator's note: This topic has been split from another topic>

I recently noticed that if you choose to show all files from subfolders, any thumbnails that haven't been created yet will not be stored in the cache.
If you access one of the subfolders directly, it will create the thumbs once more. That's a waste of time and effort. :bug:

Strange: it works fine for me (ie: I 'Show files in subfolders', new thumbnails are created and they will be in Cache when directly accessing those folders).

This feature is actually excellent to cache Thumbnails in large quantities (might be worth removing Options>Thumbnails>'Add folder' if XnView becomes able to show large quantities of thumbnails without loading them all in memory, hopefully in a future version).

Ok, i tried again and i have to slightly revise my report. It doesn't work for Video files. Images are being cached though.

Confirmed.

Thumbnails of Video files (e.g., MOV, MPG, AVI) are not cached when viewing files in subfolders. I'm not sure whether this is a feature or a bug, I'd consider this as a bug.
-> Confirmed
