I'm running WinXP with two screens. If the second screen is located on
the left side of the main screen, it will become negative X coordinates.

In this case the checkboxes at the dialogs "Options->General->Read/Write->General" and
"Options->System integration->Associations->Associations" are not working ...

Hmm, I guess this can be reproduced with dual monitors, only.
