Problem with zoom levels

I had suggested something like this earlier and was happy to see new zoom settings for the full screen mode.

But I've now noticed a problem... :(

I'm using these settings to browse images:
* Viewer = Fit windows to image
* Full Screen = Like view mode

Everything is working as expected, but when I browse in full screen mode and decide to press / to change the zoom so the entire image is visible, I can no longer turn it back properly. :? I press * to use 100% zoom level again (that is -- not zoomed in or out) but now each time I switch image, it resets to "view full image" mode, and doesn't keep the mode I started browsing with. This seems to be regardless of full screen setting. I tried "no fit" but it didn't help either. :(

Any ideas?

Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Actually, what I'd like most is that XnView *remembered* the last zoom level so if the last image viewed was in "/" mode, the next will be, and if the last image viewed was in "*" mode, the next image will be viewed like that. It works kind of like that in the new 1.74 version, just that once you switch to /, you can never go back unless you close XnView and restart viewing images.

By the way, what I'm talking about here is how I recall ACDSee does it (keeps last zoom mode). :)
