Hi, does anyone know if and how one could make a slide show or EXE/SCR to put on a web site so people can use it? I am no expert in this so i hope i can be done rather simply. I Googled this site but found nothing on that subject. Thanks.

With XnView you can create webpages with images included, but navigation to the next image is manual.
You can create SCR/EXE slideshows with XnView using Create > Slideshow, but many people (including me) would not just download an SCR/EXE and execute it unless I know that the webpage is really trustworthy. And downloading the slideshow as SCR/EXE and then executing is not as immediate as webpage which automatically slide.
There's other programs around which create webpages which automatically run, the software JAlbum may support this.
XnView has templates and with 1.90 we will even have some Flash templates which make the webpage created pretty interactive. Perhaps one or several templates which support automatic sliding could be added in one of the next XnView version (e.g. 2.0).

Thanks helmut. I may try making a web page with XNview. I want to say that i think is the best image viewer in it's class, and i have tried quite a few. But perhaps i can mention here that the slide show does lock up (it will not go back or forth though the buttons "depress) after i save an .jpg image (not pdf) while viewing that format. Once it said something about a afpl ghostscript not being in my pc, though i think i do have it due to Gimp requirements. i am running w.98.
I just found this thread
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=26585 so maybe i should post it there if i need to pursue it.
Thanks
