A blank area for tabs is produced when between toolbar and menu when '[x]No thumbnail in tab'
is changed. The invisible tabs require setting Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer to see. Win2k.

- [x]No thumbnail in tab' (it seems that change in any tab option creates problem.
-Problem doesn't occur with browser<>viewer mode

Today, it is simpler than I described above. All I need to do to make tabs vanish:
Change 'Browser<>Viewer' to 'Browser>Fullscreen>Viewer' and display image in viewer. All with new ini file.

Not very hard to reproduce. But the problem is not the empty area, the problem is that the tabs are not drawn at all.

A step by step description for reproduction:
1. In options Keyboard/Mouse > Switching modes change setting "Use double click to switch between" to "Browser > Fullscreen > Viewer".
2. In options Interface activate "No thumbnail in tab"
3. Confirm options change with "OK"
4. In XnView browser double click on a thumbnail. The image will be shown in fullscreen
5. In Fullscreen double click on image. XnView will switch to browser mode.

Between the menu and toolbar there's space where the tabs are supposed to be shown, but it's completely empty.

• I can confirm that , and also I guess that there is a pretty hitch in the file-tabs feature.

• Another funny with the tabs needs to have a button for RC2 in a button-bar of Total Commander 7 :
- Set that button with the option : [x] Run minimized
- Drag & Drop an image file (any) on the button,
- XnView opens - not minimized in the Win task-bar as it should -

Instead of the tab for the dragged file, there is a short TITLE-BAR with the Win colours for “Inactive” !
- I guess this is caused by a common defect in that function…

Is it good with the sent test version?

It is fixed with the mailed test version. I see the tabs.
