hi,
first of all i would like to say thank you - the xnview 1.90 RC2 looks very promising and i've been using xnview since uuh - let me think - at least 2 or 3 years. great piece of fantastic software!
while checking if K10D .PEF and DNG RAW-files work, i found out that they are properly displayed on the screen, can be edited and exported. great!
- when looking at the EXIF data, though, i found out that the ISO-settings are not displayed (ISO-value is always shown to be 0 in xnview although the PEF and DNG files of the k10d contain the correct ISO-value)
i would also like to learn a bit more about how the DNGs and PEFs are extracted. does xnview use a 3rd party library such as dcraw for RAW conversion or is this an "in house" development of xnview? or does xnview only extract the embedded jpegs from the PEF and DNG files (like they did in version 1.8x)? is there any information available about how the conversion process works (forumposts, documents, code, something else that explains it)?
thanks & best regards
k.
