... moving images to folders
... creating/renaming folders

Quite often the error ("XNview stopped working") when moving images to (sub)-folders, sometimes, too, when doing "directory operatins", so create or rename (sub)directories.

When you move fiels from thumbnail view to tree view??
And for creating/renaming folder, it's in the thumbnail view?

Exactly, in fact when visually sorting (looking at the thumbs) and moving the identified stuff to the matching folders in the tree to the left.

Update:

I tired the same on another PC running Vista 64-Bit and funnily there the problem is _not_ occurring - hey is the 32Bit subsystem of Vista 64 better than the original Vista 32 .-)?

I can confirm the problem. Starting XnView without selecting an image results in a crash. Not instantly, but every time.

Vista 32 Business Edition
XNView 1.91 (May 16 2007)
