Settings lifespan

Different settings have different lifespans. For example, the warning about the lossless JPG rotation in the browser appeared once and since I checked "don't bother me again" it indeed never appeared again. Another warning appeared when I moved to the next image after not saving the changes of the current one. This time checking "don't bother me again" saved my time only for one session. Next time I opened the program the warning popped up again. Third setting - the selection ratio - didn't even last that long. It stayed intact while I was browsing one folder, but as soon as I switched to the other one the setting was reset.

For all three settings (and actually there are more) I really like the behaviour of the first one. In other words if it was set it should stay set as long as I didn't change my mind. Of course it would be great to have the checkboxes somewhere in the settings so I would be able to restore the warnings.

PS Talking about lossless rotation, whould it make sense to have the option to use it when possible both for the browser and for the viewer? Right now even the menu buttons behave differently and I cannot change them in the View mode without making it look ugly since the icons are locked to certain actions and cannot be re-assigned.

Thnaks.
