n00b command line help?

could someone post links to tutorials or documentation for command line
commands, options, switches, syntax? can't seem to find any. would like to
look through it before installing.

Info » Command line help...

Code: Select all

   Usage : xnview [options] files ....
       Options:

           -all               : Open a window for each picture
           -browser           : Launch the browser
           -slide <file>      : Launch slide show

           -full              : Start in fullscreen
           -fi                : Force Fit to Image
           -fa                : Force Xnview to Fit Image

           -ini <file>
           -scan
           -capture

           -clipaste
       You can use 'xnview <folder>' to start browser.

so no functionality like crop, resize, invert?

You'd probably want nconvert for that. Or is that what you were asking for help with?

oh, yeah. one other thing. on getting this help i looked at
the download page. there's no info about the mac platform.
do the downloads work on an intel mac?

a lot of the other software i look at is broken down into sections
by mac osx ppc or intel. i only see mac for xnview, no specification
as to processor architecture.
