How create transparent 32 bit TGA?

I have no idea how to make a transparent 32 bit TGA image and this is the format I need to make AquazoneAX plant files. I have an image I want to use that has a white background that is meant to be transparent but it just stays white when I try to use it.

You can only add an alpha channel (white) with xnview (convert to 32bits)
