In XnView 1.90 you have such a Back button, already. It's the two arrows to the very left in the small toolbar:

You can either use these buttons or simply press "Backspace".

But you have a back button on 1.90.3

Excuse me but I don't have the buttons you show me in your image, as you see here:

I tried to set new button in the Toolbar Options but I found only a "Next/Previuos File (and not folder)" for the Viewer and not for the Browser... :|

How can I add them?? And futher: how can I Add/Remove/Modify functions in that particular area of Browser (indicated by the circle in the image above beside the address form)..?? I found only possibility to set the upper line of icons/functions indicated in the Toolbar options as "Browser"...

Thanks!!

:) Hello !

• The skin you are using is not updated.

• You could test either with the default one - Like helmut shows above -
or with a skin of mine i.e. Mus_Musculus) available in this package

• Also, please read the description of the skins features in our Manual
(might be added in the official Help soon too…) HERE ONLINE.

• You are welcome !

• Glad to hear that you solved the issue…
…I was continusly looking for the right option to set them... …
- In fact, the option exists : only choose an updated skin ! :P
- Mine are made either for kids (I'm a very old one), or for fun, or for tests, I'm not a professional designer…
- However, I provide extra-icons matching with each skin for some ones (not all yet, I miss time, sorry…)

 Kind regards,
Claude

Clo
I would like to update the "Old" skin I used since now and make a new one(later!).

It's possible to have the original default skin images of Xnview (to use it as a background map) to easily "Overdraw" the elements in the right positions?

Thanks!! :D

Follow the Guide !

• Whether you follow the instructions from the page linked above, you'll be able to update let's say,
only the small browser tool-bar bitmap <browser.bmp>.
- You don't need to get the default skin, moreover it's embedded in the programme and not accessible (normally…)
- In my package, there is a <Template_32> skin quite convenient to use as a background to draw a personal skin.
¤ Indeed, if the 32² size fits your needs…

ZIP IS HERE!

Thanks for Help, Clo...!! As soon as possible I'll prepare a new one based on my favorite Opera and Thunderbird skin...!!

It's not good to have incomplete skins and thus limited user interface.

@Pierre: Could you please (re-)contact the skin designers and ask them for updated skins?
