Hi everyone...

When i insert into a picture a text, for example this:
"Hello" in comic sans ms, bold and italic, XnView is allways cutting a part of the last letter - in this case the last letter ist "o" and after inserting the text, the "o" is not complete inserted.

The right part of "o" is not visible!

• It depends on which kind of letter is the last one, if it's a lowercase “o”, it's correct here.

- BUT if the last character is a capital “O”, you are right and I confirm, like shown below :

           

• I used the same font, both italic and bold, and the same “Almond” background.

• I tested also with the new “Paint” tool, there is the same defect. It's worth to test with other letters too…

• Hence, despite it's not usual to write a cap. letter at the end of a word (at least in French and English…),
one can say that's a

Note : It occurs with all fonts…

As a temporary workaround, you could add a space foreward the last character…

- However, Pierre might fix up this by adding a hard-coded right margin valid for W which is the widest character, it seems…

Yes, thats what i mean!
Ok sorry, i didn't test this on oter grafik-programs so i didn't no they have the same "bug".
Some times i write like this: "Hello!" ...and the "!" sign is olso cutted in the right-top corner


I use a empty space to avoid this problem, i just want to inform about this BUG but it seams it is no BUG


I raported long time ago about the 1x1px problem. I sometimes need a 1x1px image but with XnView i coudn't make it! With the new version 1.90.2 the smallest image is 2x2px i can make.....ok i use irfanview for that

Thanks for helping, XnView is my favorit an main grafikprogramm, sometimes i use photofiltre to make some images with mask.
