ini-file from user profile

Why XnView discussion board is displayed in French version on my Firefox 2.x, before getting logged-on ?
I wish rather English interface.
My configuration: XnView 1.90.3 on win xp pro sp2.
XnView used mainly on a non-administrative account.
Previous installations have used the ini-file placed
in user profile %Documents and Settings%\User\Application Data\XnView.
However It was required that my desktop start icon for XnView
used the -ini command line option pointing to this file.
If starting XnView by double click on any picture file it was set
to full-screen Viewer (without any UI elements of XnView).
Before upgrading to 1.90.3 I have backed up my ini file.
The 90.3 installation doesn't use it.
After second run of XnView and closing it, the ini file
I wish XnView is using is being deleted from user profile.
On next startup that XnView generates in user profile folder own ini
file and uses some own settings strange to me, not suiting to
my preferences at all.
Changing the setting "save options as ini in folder" to "user"
is effective until next Xnview close only. After restart
it is back set to xnview.
Please some help in using my old ini file by XnView.

Hello !
• About the board language, please see
THAT BIG THREAD
• I keep always my settings in the XnView folder (INI and other files), and I've no problem through the versions
to update because I use the ZIP package, and update the programme “by hand” always.
- You might do so…

Kind regards,
Claude

I had to place a copy of ini file in folder with XnView binaries.
Now, ini file from user profile directory is not being deleted on exiting
XnView.
It seems to be working. I am able to change durable language of XnView UI.
But I am not able to change durable following setting: Add 'Browse with XnView' to context menu. So XnView seems to store some settings in
ini from its installation dir, and some in ini from user profile.
Some idea how can I get working it ?

Thanks for your hint.
Had changed this setting having started xnview on administrative account.
Now it keeps durable.
But I am not able to find appropriate key in windows registry.
Are there any other settings stored in registry, not in ini file ?

That with ini file doesn't work. I had realized that since minutes ago.
Xnview is deleting ini file from %Documents and Settings%\User\Application Data\XnView on closing xnview
after second run.
I wish XnView is necessary using ini file from this folder,
because I have here full access. To folder with xnview binaries
I have only read and execute access (normal windows account).
And I am using xnview mainly as user with restricted privileges.
Furthermore I wish to be able to change xnview setting while
running it as restricted user.
If ini file placed with binaries is used all changes in preferences
are lost after xnview restart.
How can I cause xnview is using ini file from user profile ?
