Mouse erratic

Version: 1.90.3
OS: Windows 98SE
My settings:
Options ==> General ==> Keyborad/Mouse -- Section "Mouse"
Mouse Wheel: Previous/Next File
Options ==> General ==> Operations -- Section "StartUP"
Checked: Maximize XnView at startup
Fullscreen - Browser
Problem: in the folder explorer I open a image, XnView startup and show the image in fullscreen mode(ok), mouse wheel work ok; but if the folder contain a mp3 file the mouse wheel not work anymore when the music file is open and played.
This not occurs if I run first XnView (standalone) open a file and later shitch to fullscreen.
