It'd really be good to have color subsampling options in the save options for JPG instead of only being in the export window, especially since that would also make it available for batch processing. There are often times when you want to save a JPG that won't F~ up all the reds in the image, yet going through the export dialog is often far too much hassle. For example: I was recently scanning in some old comic books. I needed JPG format for filesize and compatibility reasons, yet I needed to avoid subsampling problems. Xnview simply wasn't up to the task. Using the export dialog for a 30 page comic isn't a viable solution, but there's no other way to disable subsampling in xnview.
A simple on/off toggle would suffice, it wouldn't have to have all 3 options.

But in batch convert, you can add 'convert to'

Umm... that has nothing to do with this.... The convert to: is only for converting to greyscale, indexed, true color, etc. I'm talking about subsampling when saving JPGs.
