As I remember it was possible to change the wording of the color ratings somewhere in one of the .ini-files, but I do not find it anymore. Is it still possible and where do I have to chnage it?

Yes, you must change ColorLabel-0, ColorLabel-1 ..., RatingLabel-0, ...

Fine, but in which file do I have to change it? I looked in the xnview.ini as well as in the language file exif_de.lng but could not find it in either one. Is there another file available to edit?

So you can add it in xnview.ini in [Browser] section
