I wonder if this fine product can put a SWF to GIF conversion feature into this product? It would help me out a lot and maybe some others.

Since SWFs are closed source i don't think that's possible.

There are several problems with this idea:
1) SWF animations are object based, while GIF animations are frame based. What does this mean? Lets say you have an animation of a car moving from one side to the other. In SWF, the file says "take this object (the car), and move it sideways 3 pixels each second". In GIF, the file says "here is a frame with a car on the left. here is a frame with a car 3 pixels to the right. here is a frame with the car 3 more pixels o the right, etc, etc". Since the 2 formats use completely different methods of animation, converting between them would be extremely difficult. (Nothing is impossible, but this comes close. About the only way to achieve it would be to play the flash animation & take screenshots every so often, then compile those shots into a GIF animation.
2) Some SWF files are not "locked", which means that you can re-edit them later (even if you didn't create them). Some SWF files however, are "locked" by their author, this prevents them from being edited without being decompiled/hacked first. (SWF files are more like programs than like animations.)
3) Xnview doesn't support the saving of animated gifs (because of the past patent issues perhaps?)

I used several different programs that convert SWF's to GIF's, but they all ran out of time now. I used my animation work shop program to edit the animated gif to change items or add items. I also have SWF decompiler 3.3

I used a couple other programs recently to convert them, but they put a stupid watermark in the converted GIF. This is sometimes a pain to remove with animation work shop.

You might try SUPER it's a sort of universal converter. It can convert to SWF and to GIF, although the one SWF I tried converting from wouldn't open.
