Unexpected results when applying plug-in filters

Some Adobe Photoshop compatible 8BF plug-in filters produce different outcome in conjunction with XnView as compared to other programs like Paint Shop Pro:
- Download the freebie plug-in collection (1.75 MB) from Flaming Pear's web site.
- Extract the following files from the ZIP archive to the folder where you keep your filters:
- Swap Green and Blue-120.8bf
- Swap Red and Blue-120.8bf
- Swap Red and Green-120.8bf
- Open an image in XnView, apply one of the mentioned filter effects to it (they don't have any options to choose from) and save the result in a lossless format.
- Repeat the steps described in #3 on the same image with a program other than XnView.
- Compare the two results.
- Scratch your head.

Pierre, I've just downloaded and tested v1.91.2 (Jul 19 2007).
There's still some kind of problem:
The screenshot shows what I get when I apply Flaming Pear's “Swap Green/Blue” filter on this
test.jpeg.
Is the next release going to be version 1.91.2 or 1.92?

You have not the good one, and it's 1.91.2

Right, there is a problem only if you have a 32bits pictures...

The number of incompatible plug-ins has shrunk considerably due to the release of XnView v1.92: no more issues with MediaSpark's Vignette Tranparent, VanDerLee's SnowScape or Flaming Pear's TransTone.
Earlier this week I updated the “
Free Adobe Photoshop Plug-Ins” thread accordingly.
The filters that remain problematic when it comes to processing 32-bit images are some of
Flaming Pear's Freebies, but also Etsuro Endo's
Eliminate White and the internal
Drop shadow effect.

Seems that some filters doens't like 32bits picture...
