Preview window should be closed before you open Xnview.
click on a thumbnail and go to menu "view > preview > real size"
xnview should crash.

But, if you open preview window first and then go to menu "view > preview > real size" it is ok. After that when preview window is closed going to that menu does not crash xnview until you re-open xnview with preview window closed.

:) Hello !
Preview window should be closed before you open Xnview. …
• Sorry, I didn't understand how to get that, here even if I set another option in the menu in a previous session,
I get always a preview in the next one… I never start XnView with the browser, but in View,
the most times from Total Commander via D&D the image on the icon of XvView.
- So, I can't reproduce the bug. Please, show more verbose steps for that part of your report.
• However, I noticed that asking for the "Real size" doesn't display the 1:1 scale,
actually the image is blown-up by ~ 30%… Maybe a wording issue, what does "Real size" mean exactly ? Printing size ? :?

 Kind regards,
Claude

This was found by accident... see two movies bellow.

Crash...
When xnview opens in this layout; thumbnails (no preview window) it will crash if thumbnail is clicked on then "view > preview > real size" was choosen.
Xnview Crash movie (avi 1.9MB)

No Crash...
If I open preview window before I go to "view > preview > real size" it will not crash and after that if i repeat the step above there will not be any crashes.
Xnview Crash movie (avi 3.9MB)

I am sorry I might be using bad words to describe the problem.
I do not think people will do this but I did it by accident and it crashed. That should not have happened.
Thanks.
