Preview of video files in fullscreen

When selecting the thumbnail of an AVI file, XnView shows the video in *fullscreen* immediately (no double-click!). Sometimes the fullscreen cannot be closed by pressing Esc key.
Is this a bug or a new feature (which I find quite annoying)? How can I turn this behaviour off?

I can't reproduce this bug/behavior.

This could be codec related and there are lots of different codecs for AVI's.

Thank you for your replies. I find this problem quite annoying: It's almost impossible to stop the video and return to the browser. After hitting Esc key, left mouse click, right mouse click and other keys *many* times, XnView finally happens to stop.
Nice here

Hello !
• It works like a charm here, I guess that
ckit is right, that's probably a codec issue.
- I get the thumb nails >> click >> Preview >> F11 >> Full screen >> Esc >> Preview… >> 2-click >> “View” and so on.
- Maybe it's related to the modes settings regarding the keyboard¦mouse too ?
