Multi-thumbnail Video Thumbnail

Hello,
I would like to add a suggestion for discussion. Would like the ability to display multiple thumbnails, configurable from 1 - 12, within the thumbnail for a video. Similar to the multi-thumbnail display for a folder. Thumbnails would be spaced out throughout the video. This would allow you, when needed, to see more of the content of the video without playing it. Is very good for organizing. Should be configurable since it will slow thumbnailing down.
Thanks,
Chip

I think what Budz45 is requesting and what I am requesting is similar but different...Unless I am misunderstanding something. Budz45 request looks to be for a separate thumbnail sheet containing multiple thumbnails of a single video. I am looking to replace the thumbnail icon for a video file within xnview with an icon that contains multiple thumbnail frames for each video with the directory. ACDSee does this today. I have a comparitive picture I can send / post if that will be helpful.
Cheers!

• Hello Charles !
• I got your suggestion, and I'm aware of the difference with the
Budz45's one.
• With regard to the Win features, it seems that only four images in a thumb nail can be displayed easily,
like for the directories ones (4-in-1).
- I suppose that a pretty piece of codes is needed to get :
1. The samples in the video (that is planned according to the Budz45's wish),
2. A special thumb nail build to display
n… samples in the same thumb nail (with another design than for the folders,
showing clearly that it's a video-file).
• However, it should be a nice feature, and I guess that you might show a screen shot for that here (if you have).
