Thumbnail quality

Not that i care about it, since i'm not using it, but the high quality option for thumbnails doesn't seem to work over here. Make 'em really big (like 300px) and turn on high quality. If you rebuild thumbnails for that folder, the thumbnails will still have low (blocky) quality. Look for areas with high level of detail.

Do you use embedded thumbnail?

I'll have to specify my report: it's always using low quality for folder thumbnails (the one's that give you a preview of the folders contents).
It happens with embedded thumbs both on and off.
