"Watch this thread" option

Can this feature be added to the XnView forum? Also "Files being watched"? As of now, I'm copying topics via CTRL-C and CTRL-V to an open email on my browser and then sending it to myself. This is a pretty clumsy way to do it, and I'd rather be able to access the original thread. Most of the other forums I belong to have these features.
You have it

Hello ! Welcome aboard !
• You have it already, just click the link under the [New] and [Answer] buttons ( or so, here the interface is in French).
- Indeed, it's worth a higher font…
- So, you could post a request about this in the INFO section (not sure it coud be improved, though).

Kind regards,
Claude

Hi Claude,
I misspoke. There is a link for "Watch this thread" at the bottom. However, I sometimes want to check back for some reason (i.e. how to do certain things in XnView) on several threads I'm watching. Without a "You're watching these threads" option, I can't get there.

Well, I guess that such an “History” needs to add a phpBB mofification,
so please request it in the Info & Forum section

Hi Laren,
depending on which browser you're using, you can save addresses of web pages as either “
bookmarks” (Netscape Navigator/Mozilla Firefox/Opera) or “
favorites” (Microsoft Internet Explorer).

Hi XnTriq,
Thanks, I know about bookmarks and favorites, use them all the time. The problem was that I could not find a way to list the threads I've subscribed to. Above the right-hand column headed "Last Post" is an option "View your posts." This isn't the same, it won't lead to threads I'm interested in following but didn't subscribe to, only the ones I replied to. But it's some help.
There's probably a way, I just haven't found it.

Sorry about that, Laren. I didn't mean to talk down to you.
I believe what you're looking for is called a “
watchlist”. By default phpBB doesn't include such a feature, but – as assumed by Clo – there is a MOD:
- List watched Topics: phpBB.com / phpBBModders.net
This MOD will allow you to easily see all topics you are watching. It uses search.php for this.
- Watched Topics List: phpBB.com
Adds a watched topics list so users can easily manage the topics they are watching.
