I only want use XnView view images.
But when the directory contains some AVI files, press the space and got a codec missing dialog, or PDF files got a ghostscript missing dialog, it's really bothered.
And I have choosed the images file type only that asosiated with XnView.

In option/File list/Show in preview column, do you have checked PDF, video..?

Options -> Browser -> File list
Have you tried to uncheck the unwanted formats here?

You can also set the filter (one of the buttons above the browser, or view->filter by in the menu) to images to ignore other file types.

Hello !
• You could try to state that extension on the "Exclude" field of the dialogue that
Troken quoted, please give a glance
HERE…
- Note : the two bottom-fields have not any marking-off, that is an annoying lacuna… Just read the text under the picture.

That removed them from the browser display only but if you page up/page down it still will attempt to display the files.

Hello !
• That design is missing an “
Ignore List” feature which could allow to ignore the formats stated in it with all display modes…

Kind regards,
