Hi,

Is it possible to administrate user groups for XnView via existing user groups in LDAP / MS active directory?

The idea is a network drive for pictures / videos. Some users should be able to add / change data, others should only be able to search by keywords and watch it.

No, currently it's not possible

Just give some users write/modify access to the physical files and databases and others not.
