XnView Software

Hi!

I've got a problem with the USB integration of XnView: When I insert a memory card into my card reader, the appearing pop-up window doesn't list XnView though I've activated USB detection in the options

. I work with Windows XP SP2. Can anyone help?

Go to Tools » Options... » System integration and activate Add XnView as applications for USB events (camera, scan, ...).
You might have to restart Windows for this setting to take effect.

BTW: XnView Media Detector may also be of interest to you.

I just didn't know that the Media Detector is needed.
It works brilliantly, by the way - a pity it doesn't recognize the raws from my Olympus E510. Will there be an update once in a while?

I would assume it depends on how many people ask for improvements. But as of now, most users probably never heard of it because there's no mention on the official download page.
