Problem with Lock Zoom

I am having a problem with the Lock Zoom feature. I use xnview to rename drawings for blueprint reproduction. I like to zoom in on the corner of the drawing to get the sheet name. Once zoomed in, I enable lock zoom, but it doesnt stay in the bottom right corner. It stays zoomed in, but the position changes back to the top left. In the previous version I had 1.91 I believe, lock zoom worked just fine, but it didnt have the extension feature on it, thats why I upgraded. Does anyone have any advice, or is there a hidden feature I am not doing?

Tools->options->view->reset x/y
That makes it reposition to the upper left. Unfortunately, I think that with that unchecked it always centers the image. I'm not sure there's any way to make it stay focused where you last left it.
Anyway, you should try unchecking that option & see if it works or not.

The older version would lock zoom and lock position where I was zoomed in to. Is there a reason why this version does not support that? The reset x/y did not work.
I zoom into the bottom right of an image to get a name for it, lock the zoom and it should keep that bottom right location but it does not. In 1.82.2, the version I had before, it would do that, lock the position and the zoom.

I asked about it a while back, I don't know if it'll ever be added. Anyway, the Compare function was pretty much made for doing this.

See the thing is, it was added, because it worked in previous versions. I dont know why they dropped that feature.
