Option dialog: 'Apply' button wanted

Hello, thanks.
Also, one more thing, there should be the 'Apply' button in options, so that when you test new skins, you can just press 'Apply' instead of 'OK' and then have to go back to options again and again because 'OK' clears the options screen...

I support this

Indeed ! I support that request.
- An “Apply” button is always welcome ! We have this i.e. in Total Commander for a while on each option-page, it's very convenient…

Especially in the case of skins the apply button makes sense.
Regarding the skins, perhaps the situation could be improved a bit if the whole skin was visible in Options > Toolbar > Skin. Adding horizontal scrollbars should be sufficient.

Are there any news on that subject? I have searched the forum for "apply button" and this seems to be the most recent thread.
While trying out XnView RC 5 thumbs support for Total Commander it was very uncomfortable to not have an apply button and to permanently close and recall the dialog.

Hello Jeff !
- Glad to see you there!
- Indeed, this topic might be restarted ! Thank you to point out this again.
I hope it'll be added in the next bunch of improvements, in 1.81, perhaps ?

The same posting from Doggie should contain at least
three pretty spelling errors and
four inopportune "German commas"
, that I'ld have detected certainly
- Well, indeed Pierre is overworked too, but the state of mind is a bit different here; so, I bet we'll get that feature before my death…

Indeed, I am pretty impressed about the bug reporting, status of fixes and postponed reporting. Much easier for users to keep track of what's going on.
I hope you are not planning to die too soon nevertheless.

Any chance this option will get added?
Yes, but later

Hello !
• It'll be added certainly, but there is not any new version on tests currently;
Pierre said on the French forum that the whole Options thingy must be rebuilt for several reasons (layout, support for hotkeys etc.)
• So, just be patient (I hope this for years, and I could live without it till today…)

Kind regards,
Claude
