Use the Mezich Skin as default

There has been a poll in the past where most people voted for
the Mezich skin as the best default.
I want to reintroduce that suggestion, as I think that the Mezich skin
is
by far the most clean and professional looking one.
No, seriously, it should be a no-brainer, because it is just soo much
better that the others IMO.
Many people judge a program by its looks, and many people are either
too lazy or too stupid / noob to change the skin (no offense intended).
So I think that using Mezich as default in the future would make XnView
much more appealing to the casual or new user (and to existing users as
well, of course).
Oh, and thanks to the artist who created this amazing skin

.
Plus extra icons ?

Again…
• Despite I use my own (fancy) skins only, I ought say that you are not wrong…
• Maybe an agreement had not been got between Pierre and the author of that skin ?
• Anyway, there is a common lacuna in all released skins (except the one of mine that's distributed) :
The authors of skins didn't provide
matching extra-icons
- It's a pity since now the users may
ADD ICONS in the tool-bars…;)

I would like to see the Phoenity skins removed from XnView, why?
1. ALL Phoenity Art has been discontinued.
2. The Filter button is broken in XnView.
Actually I'd like to see all skins removed from XnView and instead packaged into separate ZIP archives. That way skins can be updated quicker and faster without having to wait for new XnView releases.

I've asked the author of Mezich for extra icons, i think that when i'll have them, the mezich will be the default skin...

I totally agree, some skins look very unprofessional and/or childish, could IMO be removed from the program.

So my question is, which skins must be in the package?

Just the Mezich skin in IMO, the other skins can be downloaded on the downloads page.

Hard question, but I'd say keep only the following two, they are good enough:
Crystal Project
Mezich
Perhapps the others could be downloaded as ckit mentions.
Is it worth to give a new skin a try? How is this done? I mean, if XnView 2.0 is near and will use a new interface, maybe its a waste of time to create a new skin.

Seeing that Mezich will be default in the future makes me happy

Thanks.
I agree that some of the most unprofessional / childish skins could
be removed and be available as separate downloads.

Perhaps there should be just few skins in the standard version, more (or all?) skins in the complete version and just one or two in the minimal version. I suggest these for:
Minimal: Crystal Project, Mezich
Standard: current default, Crystal Project, Mezich, Matte DeLuxe, XP
Complete: all?

What's wrong with the current interface of XnView besides the default icons? I find it perfect as it is.

Nothing wrong, I just mean that if there's a new version coming up soon (with new interface and skins), then there is no point in making a new skin at this point.
Perfect, well, IMHO the interface has some minor issues, but nothing to make a great fuzz about.

Here's my order of liking:
1. Mezich
2. Current Default Skin
3. Pheonity Normal (needs one button updating)
4. Old Default Skin (a bit hard on the eyes)
