XnView Software

This viewer was recommended by a friend but I am not very familiar with the various image readers available. My question is this: Will the XnView read images in a TIFF format which uses CCITT Group 4 compression or ITU T.6? Please send any information you have in very simple terms as I am not conversant in much of the technical terms.
