Thumbnail with film strip

Hello!
I am looking for a software to catalogue my media collection. XnView seems to be very interesting so far.
But I am missing a function that I would like to see:
As it seems XnView (and most of the other software I found) is only able to present one thumbnail per video clip with one image from a single frame. I would prefer see a kind of film strip per video clip that includes images of 4-8 different frames from that clip (I hope you understand what I mean).
Is this somehow possible in XnView? Or does someone know a windows-software that is able to do that? (There seem to be a lot of Mac OS programs that work that way, but I have found nothing under Windows so far)
